Art: Visual Studies Minor

Program Description

The Art: Visual Studies minor equips students to critically engage with and analyze visual culture through historical, philosophical, and cultural lenses. Students develop skills in art criticism, visual analysis, and cultural interpretation, while exploring the role of art and design in shaping human experience. This minor enhances students’ understanding of global visual practices and their ability to communicate insights across disciplines, pairing well with majors like Education, English, or Business.
