Since its founding in 1891, Seattle Pacific University has equipped men and women to engage the culture with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Seattle Pacific Seminary, which exists to serve this end, houses undergraduate programs, as well as graduate programs.

At both the undergraduate and the graduate level, faculty members will nourish your intellectual, spiritual, and personal growth. They will also help you master the critical skills and multicultural sensitivities needed to understand the Christian faith and translate it into practices that change the world. 

Our Mission

Seattle Pacific Seminary at Seattle Pacific University is a workshop of the Holy Spirit that exists to pursue the knowledge of the Triune God for the deepening of the church's worship and the strengthening of its love for the least of these. 

Minors

Program Learning Outcomes

1. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the Christian tradition and develop skills of theological reflection.
2. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the Bible as Scripture, and develop skills and practices of biblical interpretation that illustrate a discerning use of Scripture.
3. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the principles and skills that are essential to serve and lead as agents of reconciliation in diverse settings.
4. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the dynamics and practices of nurturing their own Christian faith and the Christian faith of others.
