Mathematics Minor

Program Description

Pursuing a Mathematics minor can equip you with analytical and problem-solving skills that open doors to diverse career opportunities in today’s competitive job market. A minor in Mathematics is an excellent complement to majors in many quantitatively oriented disciplines, including Engineering, Computer Science, and Economics. If you intend to minor in Mathematics, begin by completing the calculus sequence: MAT 1234 Calculus I, MAT 1235 Calculus II, and MAT 1236 Calculus III, which are prerequisite to most upper-division courses.
