About the History Program
History Faculty
SPU History faculty and courses prepare students to serve the world by studying the past as it relates to the present and to the future. Our approach affirms diverse heritages, welcomes long-neglected voices, applies innovative tools, and interacts with other fields of study. Our approach is rooted in our faith in Jesus and emphasizes the importance of helping students cultivate Godly virtues such as love, hope, justice, courage, and wisdom through their study of History.
